Why do my windows spot after I wash them myself?
Because the water you used had minerals in it. They stay on the glass once the water evaporates, and in Oilgate's damp air the drying is slow, so they get plenty of time to settle. Our water has nothing dissolved in it, so there is nothing left when it dries.

Usually we can improve them a great deal, though old mineral etching that has bitten into the surface is a different problem to a film sitting on top. We will look at your glass and tell you honestly which one you have before we start. Etching tends to show as a cloudy patch that does not change when the pane is wet, and a deposit disappears the moment water touches it. That is the quickest test either of us can do.

Not at all. The van arrives with its own tanks already filled and filtered, so nothing of yours is left running and no door has to stay open behind us. If you are out when we call, we get on with it and message you afterwards.
