Pure Water Window Cleaning in Ballycanew, Co. Wexford

When does a house like this actually need doing? That is the question we get most in Ballycanew, where plenty of properties fill up for the season and sit quiet the rest of the year. We would rather help you pick the timing than sell you the same schedule as everyone else.

Timing a window clean in Ballycanew

You are a short run inland from the coast here, and the village takes a lot of the overflow once the season opens. Some of the houses we look after are lived in all year, some are let out, and some only see the family at Easter and in the summer. Each one wants a different plan, and the plan matters far more than the product does. Any decent cleaner can make a window bright on the day. Landing that day in the right week is the harder trick.

Before the season opens

If people are coming to stay, you want the glass done before they arrive rather than after. Spring light picks out every mark on a window, and it is the first thing a guest notices from inside. We would far rather clean for you in the quiet weeks than be squeezed in the day before a changeover. Early April tends to be the sweet spot around the village: the pollen has mostly come and gone, and the roads are still quiet enough for us to work at our ease.

Through the working summer

The fields around the village are busy from cutting time onward, and the dust off them lands on your windows whether the house is occupied or not. Cutting and baling both throw a great deal into the air within a few hundred metres, and an empty house gets exactly the coating that a lived-in one does. Keeping a let on the round through those months saves you the panic clean, and we can work between changeovers if you send us the dates.

Closing up for the winter

A house shut for the winter still gathers pollen, cobwebs and grime on the outside, and all of it sets harder for being left. One clean going into the quiet season means you are not facing a whole year of build-up when you open the doors again. We can look over your frames while nobody is in the way. Spiders are the real nuisance in an empty house, if we are honest with you. They web the corner of every opening within a fortnight of the door closing, and the webbing holds dust all winter until somebody brushes it off.

Between the village and the road out to Courtown Harbour we look after a real mix, from working farms to houses that only open in summer. Whichever yours is, tell us when it is in use and we will build the timing around that instead of around our own diary.

How we clean windows in Ballycanew

Four steps, and the order matters.

1

Clean water, and only water

The minerals are taken out first. Nothing else goes near your windows.

2

Agitated gently

The brush is soft enough for old beading and firm enough to move the film.

3

Height without ladders

Reach comes from the pole, so the house is never leaned on.

4

Left wet, on purpose

Pure water dries without a mark, so the glass is left to finish itself.

We cover Ballycanew village and its townlands, and we are in and out of Courtown and Ballymoney on the same days. Managing a let from a distance is common enough here, and matching a clean to your changeover rarely needs a special trip from us. A photograph after each visit tends to save you a phone call across the water.

Wider out we are through Gorey and Kilanerin, then back down to Enniscorthy. Send the address along with the weeks that matter to you, and we will come back with what can be lined up.

Ballycanew window cleaning questions

When is the best time of year to have it done?

That depends on your house more than the calendar. If you let it, clean before the guests start arriving and again as the season winds down. If you live here all year, most people prefer it kept ticking over so it does not reach the bad stage at all. We are happy to talk it through with you.

What does it cost?

Prices on the Signature Round begin from €25 for a modest house, and yours turns on the glass and the access. Lets and larger properties get quoted after a proper look at the place, so nothing about the figure is a surprise on the day.

Can you clean while the house is empty?

Yes, and that is how we do most of the seasonal properties around here. We work entirely on the outside, so nobody needs to be there and no key has to change hands. We will message you once it is finished.

I only want it done the once before summer. Is that alright?

It is, and we will do it properly for you. Either way the house will be right for the season, and you can stop wondering about it. Straight talking though: glass left the rest of the year takes longer to bring back, so if you find yourself booking one every spring, a round tends to work out easier on you.

Do you do the conservatory and the patio doors?

We do, and on a holiday house they matter more than the upstairs windows. Your guests look out through that glass all week. List what you have when you enquire, and it goes into the quote with everything else.
