Render, pebble dash and K-Rend were made to be rained on. Rain does not arrive at two thousand PSI.
A modern polymer render or a dry dash has a surface layer that does the work of shedding water. Pressure driven hard enough to shift growth can etch that layer, leave wand marks across an elevation and loosen dash from the substrate. Putting a damaged finish right costs a great deal more than the cleaning ever did.
It goes on gently and is left to work, so the finish is never asked to withstand anything. The growth is killed where it is rooted rather than scoured off the top, most of it goes the same day, and the last of it clears over the following days. The render you have when we arrive is the render you have when we leave.
Same solution, different dilution, different dwell, different pace.
A photograph tells us the substrate — smooth, dash, K-Rend, painted — and that answer decides everything downstream. Anything we cannot see from it we ask about.
Dilution and dwell are matched to the finish. On a textured wall the solution needs longer to reach into the texture; on a polymer render it needs less and gentler.
The ground below is rinsed, and you are told what to expect. On a coastal wall most of the change is there before we leave, and the last of it comes on over the next few days.

A modern render is exactly what a low-pressure treatment suits. It is force that marks a new polymer finish, not a dilute solution at neutral pH, which is precisely why we do not use force on walls.
Yes, and they are often the most worthwhile part of a job. A cleaned house with a green boundary wall in front of it looks half done, and the wall is usually a small addition to a visit already booked.
It often does, at first. The two things we would watch for are the growth returning within a season, and marking that only shows once the wall dries out fully. Neither is visible on the day, which is what makes it hard for you to judge.
Usually a little. The bulk of it is there the same day, and anything deeply held keeps clearing for a few days after as the last of it dies back. If something is still holding by the end of the week, tell us and we will come and look at it.
